| Our service dept. encounters at least one laptop every week that has been damaged by accidental liquid spills. Even a small amount of liquid (insert your favourite beverage) splashed into your laptop can render it completely unusable. Due to the high expense of replacing multiple internal components, it is rarely a cost-effective repair. In most cases the computer must be replaced (Apple warranty does not cover accidental damage).
