I take an average amount of photo’s. I have a DSLR and when I do have the occasional ‘WOW’ shot – going through and manipulating it to get it to look perfect is the part that really amazes me. I have the luxury of using applications such as Photoshop & Aperture to assist me in making my ‘WOW’ photos look simply amazing. But not everyone has access to $300-$700 applications to edit their pictures. So this month’s tip section is how to manipulate photos so your ‘WOW’ photos look amazing too.

 

One of the first applications I came across was Colour Splash Studio ($1.99 from the Mac App Store). It allows you to have your photos look more dramatic with the ability to choose what colour from your shots appears with the background in a black and white daze. The end result makes every shot you take look extremely professional. Not to mention stylish and sophisticated.

There amount of control you have on colours is amazing.

 

 

If your looking for something to add amazing filters and effects to your photos and have a small reserve for a quality application, look no further then FX Photo Studio Pro ($39.99 from the Mac App Store). With several dozen effects that can easily be manipulated for literally thousands of different styles – you can make one photo become a hundred photos.
